Phytase enzymes, when used as an additive in animal feed applications, allows higher utilization of naturally occurring phosphorus from the feed, thereby increasing its nutritional value and reducing phosphate-rich waste from swine and poultry farms, which is a leading cause of water pollution.
Quantum™ Phytase, a next generation thermostable phytase, provides breeders with the means to not only improve the economics of animal care, but also help them make great advances in complying with increasingly stringent regulatory requirements for decreasing phosphate pollution. Results from more than 50 poultry and swine trials of this product show that Quantum™ phytase consistently outperforms other commercial phytases in a wide variety of diets.
